Energy Service Companies (ESCO) Grading

We grade Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) on their ability to conduct energy efficiency audits and implement energy saving projects.

ESCO grading is a pre-requisite for BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) empanelment. As per BEE requirements, ESCOs are graded on three broad parameters - Track Record & Market Position, Organisational Risk, and Financial Risk. The process includes seeking relevant data from the entity; engaging with key personnel; and collecting feedback from bankers, owner’s engineers, and lender’s engineers (if applicable).

Our grading services provide the winning edge to clients. It:

  • Highlights technical and financial soundness
  • Acts as a differentiator amidst numerous players
  • Helps acquisition of tenders from BEE, Central & State Governments, Municipal Corporations, and other sources on empanelment
  • Improves operations as it acts as a self-assessment tool

Vendor Grading/ Dealer Due Diligence

We grade vendors/ dealers specified by the client through a comprehensive assessment based on business and financial parameters.

Vendor Grading is a useful tool for companies to evaluate their existing vendor and dealer base in order to set exposure limits as per the grading scale; to either continue or discontinue relationship with existing vendors / dealers and act as a filter to evaluate vendors/dealers before empanelment/ starting a relationship.

We grade vendors/ dealers on three broad parameters: Management quality, Business strength and Financial soundness.
